Hair Jewelry, Crowns, And Hippie Headbands Oh My!

Hair accessories are versatile, stylish and fabulous. Whether you have long hair or short hair you can always add a hippie headband, clip a hair chain on, or don a flower crown for that wonderful hippie chic look we all love.  Depending on the occasion or your mood, hair accessories can be simple and natural looking to shiny and grand.

There are an abundance of fabulous ways to add a little bit of flair to your hair. So many in fact, I couldn’t possibly cover them all in this post. So instead I have picked a few of my favorites to share. It is a bit like being a kid in a candy store when you see all the amazing pieces made by different designers and artists.

Hair Jewelry 

Hair jewelry can really encompass pretty much any type of hair accessory, except perhaps a normal hair tie. However, I like to think of hair jewelry as wonderful statement pieces that stand out and add that extra special touch. They can really complete a look or pull together an outfit in a fun and whimsical way or in a gorgeous and stunning manner. No matter whether you are wearing hair jewelry for a special occasion or just because they are a fabulous hippie chic accessory.

Crowns

Who doesn’t enjoy wearing a crown every once in a while? Flower crowns are one of my favorite types. You can either buy a beautifully designed one or easily learn how to make a flower crown of your own. But crowns are not only made of flowers they can be made with a variety of materials. From the nature nymph to boho bride there is a crown for everyone.

Hippie Headbands

The headband is an iconic hippie look. Still ever popular today, hippie headbands are a fabulous and easy way to get your boho chic look. They are stylish, fun and come in a wide variety. I love hippie headbands and they are also great for those days when you don’t feel like doing much with your hair but still want to look like you did 🙂 We all have those days right?
