DIY Bohemian Fringe Chandelier Perfect for the Classic Hippie Chick
Here’s how this came to be. We stumbled upon an article and this blogger stumbled upon the idea on Pinterest and some home decor website. The style is from the 1960’s and is very hippie-like.
According to Justina from The Jungalow, this fringe boho chandelier would cost about $2000 online and her DIY version only costed $56! That’s a massive price difference!
She also said some of the items are very easy to find but the rack where you hang from is a bit difficult to find. Apparently, it’s a canning rack and she found it online! You can order it here if you want to give this a try.
Aside from the canning rack, everything else is pretty much easy to find. You’ll need scissors, glue gun, gold or brass banding, fringe trim and a basic cord kit if you want to light up the lamp.
Don’t worry. Justina explained the step-by-step instruction on how you can achieve this hippie chic light fixture. Find it here.
And this is your finished product! Ain’t it nice? This would be perfect for college dorm rooms or even in your bedroom at home!
I’m so glad Justina DIY-ed this piece because I’m sure many hippie chicks would like this but would not want to pay 2-Gs for it! Thanks, Justina!
