For A Quick Shot of Nutrients to Your Skin –
1/2 Avocado
Mash up the avocado and apply to face and neck, let sit for 15 minutes, rinse with warm water. Then eat the other half:)
For Wrinkle Reduction –
1/2 Avocado
1/4 cup Honey ( raw honey is great but any kind will do)
Mash up the avocado and mix in the honey until you have a nice creamy texture. Apply generously to your face and neck. Let sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
For Moisturizing –
1 Avocado Peel
The peel of the avocado holds a large amount of the oils from the fruit. The oil is great for moisturizing your skin, don’t throw the peel away anymore! Instead using the inside of the peel gently stroke it in an upward motion onto your face. From there you can either let it sit for 15 minutes before rinsing with warm water or for a more intense treatment leave it on overnight. Many also leave it on using it as a base before applying foundation or makeup powder.
Puffy Eyes Be Gone –
1/2 Avocado
Peel the avocado and slice into crescent-shaped pieces. Apply 1-2 slices under each eye, and here is the best part lie down and relax for at least 15 minutes! A great excuse to take a little time out for oneself.
Avocado Facial Cleanser
1 Egg Yolk
1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Avocado
Peel avocado, mash it up. Beat the egg yolk, add the milk and avocado – mix well for a thin, creamy consistency. Apply with cotton balls or pads using circular motions. Wash with warm water.
