48 Comments to Women Clearly Show Sexism CAN Last a Lifetime

What’s the most sexist comment you’ve ever heard as a woman? This video by Huffington Post shows in two minutes what women are told by society.

It shows that even as we age, time changes and traditions shift, sexism hasn’t change.

Though women are more accepted as individuals in the society, there’s still sexism when they’re spoken to. From comments like, “Don’t be a slut,” to questions like, “You’re going to go back to work and have a nanny raise your kids?”, it can be endless. And most of the time, society are unaware of this cultural rape.

In the past, women are only vital to society for the sake of extending the family line. They are not given an education unless they come from a prominent family. They are seen to be only fit to bear children, keep a house and serve their husbands. This culture is the very reason why feminist figures like Joan of Arc or Amelia Earhart are highly respected. They proved that women can do many things men can also do.
